Welcome to Westview

Plan a Visit
  • You’re searching for a church that’s more than a building, perfect people, or shallow relationships.
  • You’re looking for a place to belong, where you can feel at home, where you can find rest and community with other followers of Jesus.
  • If you’re searching for a space to find rest in Christ, you’ve come to the right place.

At Westview, we want to be a community of REAL people.

Our church is built upon four core values

Building our foundation on God’s Word

Our foundation is built on God, His Word, and His son, Jesus, and we respond to those truths with God-glorifying, Christ-centered, Spirit-led worship. We’re part of a fellowship of congregations seeking to be the presence of Jesus Christ in the world, starting right where we live in Waukee and our surrounding communities.

Keeping our focus outside our church walls

We’re deeply immersed in our evolving community, offering our building facilities to community groups, the Westview Church Preschool, Waukee Area Christian Services, and a community garden.

Creating genuine relationships

We seek to live our lives together in authentic community through weekly worship, groups for all ages, and opportunities to serve together.

Growing together throughout our lives

Our journey of growing in faith is one that never ends. Whether brand new to the faith or a lifelong follower of Jesus, we continuously learn to live like Jesus so we can be his hands and feet in this world.

Our vision drives everything we do at Westview

Creating space for self and community to find rest in Christ

In all we do, we seek to share that one’s true identity is not found degrees, accolades, reputation, or the bank account. Instead, it’s found in the hope that is Jesus Christ. When we understand and receive this hope, then we find rest for our weary souls.
