Meals from the Heartland Westview will be packaging meals from 9-11 AM on Saturday, October 19th, at the West Des Moines location. Anyone 8 and older is welcome to participate. We are hoping to get at least 20 packing volunteers, which will enable us to package 10,000 meals in our two-hour shift. Each meal costs $0.29, so we are also looking to raise funds to cover the $2,900 cost of the meals we package. Donations can be left in the Meals from the Heartland box on the Information Center.
